Social media has its involvement in marketing and branding of a business that’s well known by everyone. But you‘ll be surprised to know that it is playing a tremendous role in hiring and recruitment processes. The well known brands and companies are hiring through social media networks.  


The IT companies are most common who are hiring through social networks. It companies like HCL use social network site like facebook to find people in the niche like SAP, PeopleSoft, Oracle etc. Other companies like Ingersoll Rand International uses social networking sites to share information about the open positions, job descriptions and company requirements in terms of skills. They share all the recruitment related information with the candidates who have posted their resumes on social media sites. The companies also share the staff stories so that people take interest to join the company and get inspired to work with company.

Oh yes and they also uploaded videos in which people talk about their roles in the company. By showing the work environment and work culture also the company hires potential candidates.
The companies are not only hiring through social but also sharing information about the company and sell their brand to the young generation. It’s playing an important role in branding too.
